Private Workshops

Are you looking for a unique and immersive cultural experience? Look no further than our Scribal Workshops! Led by expert guide Kalman Gavriel (The Jerusalem Scribe), this workshop offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the ancient art of Hebrew calligraphy.

Perfect for groups of any size, from families to large tour groups, our workshop uses authentic materials to provide a truly authentic experience. You'll have the chance to practice writing the Hebrew alphabet, and to learn about the history and tradition of scribal arts.

Our Scribal Workshops are located in the Old City of Jerusalem at The Jerusalem Scribe Gallery (58 Habad Street) and comprises of:

•  An alternative approach to the world of Sofer Stam with Jewish Scribal Art as well as an introduction to the Hebrew Letters.
• Hands-on activities in which everybody is supplied with a quill, ink, and parchment to practice writing on the parchment.
• Every participant will have access to Kalman Gavriel (The Jerusalem Scribe) and go home with a Scribal Art gift!
