The Jerusalem Scribe

Living in Jerusalem is both a dream and reality. If you have ever visited Jerusalem you will know that there is a deep yearning almost embedded in the city. I have sat together with Muslims over coffee and creative conversation and we have practically agreed on every subject matter. Our small but impactful differences have severed a longstanding peaceful relationship Jews and Muslims have had. Jerusalem is split between political parties and personal interest, but not by traditional nor religious belief. To say that religion demands grief between communities is to be ignorant to the very prophets who established them.

Creativity breaks barriers.

we must use our creativity to break the barriers of prejudice and misunderstanding.

Art is a universal language.

What comes from the heart enters the Heart.

Here in the heart of Jerusalem I sit as a scribe and strive to promote peace and understanding between individuals and communities.
