I love meditating on this holy and wholesome message.
Designed with intention in a desire to express or emphasize a certain idea or feeling that the Shiviti teaches 🙏🏼

In classic black scribal ink, sometimes in blues, reds, greens and more:)
Also working with unbelievable local artists to add beautiful illumination🎨

I love using real gold leaf to express the power of the notion of always being connected and in direct sight of HaShem✨✨

I’ve come to realize that these pieces are not exclusively for Synogogues but for anyplace where a person prays or meditates in a Torah focused way 🌎

During this difficult Corona period it resonates deeply to share these works with so many people who have created space in their homes and life for more intentional and spiritual practices 🙏🏼

I am grateful

The first verse we say upon waking up in the morning.
We see a beautiful message from the first two words ‘Modeh Ani’.
Modeh means grateful, and comes before Ani, I.

To start every morning with the word ‘grateful’ and not with I
Being grateful is infinite and leads to peace and harmony ✨✨
I is also infinite in a way but when can easily get into the ‘I this’ and ‘I that’ mode of self interest- which is very limited by nature 🙏🏼

We learn from moses the power of prayer- and how personal prayer is to a given situation.

When the Jews sinned with the Golden Calf Moses prayed for 40 days and nights.
And they were forgiven

When Miriam was sick he prayed 5 words
“Please HaShem heal her now”
and she was healed.

When we tap into ourselves and the oneness of the universe we intuitively know what to do :)
